A new build property on a severance plot. The dwelling has been specifically designed for the needs of a recently disabled client, and includes distinct features to enable the easy adaptation of the home should her condition deteriorate further. The property boasts spacious living and circulation spaces to aid ease of movement, including allowance for wheelchair storage, charging and transfer. Low cills and full height glazing are utilised to provide extensive views to outside from chair and bed positions. To the rear the scheme includes a south facing raised deck to allow ease of access to enjoy views over the garden and adjacent trees and stream. In addition to obtaining all approvals, we carried out a formal tender process and set up and administered a building contract, as well as project managing and overseeing works on site to provide a turn-key solution.
