Deben Court, Wickham Market
Remodelling and refurbishment of the former Victorian red brick workhouse, and associated infirmary building to provide 32 flats of one and two bedrooms, and of various tenure for a registered social landlord. The project was handed over on 03 August to a very happy client. Prospective tenants have been shown round and are due to move in shortly, some of whom lived here before the redevelopment works began and are very impressed with the transformation.
The project has been nominated for RIBA and RICS awards, and is the winner of the 2016 Suffolk Coastal District Council Quality of Place Award for Conservation.
